This is for all the girls out there. . .

Sorry he's mine!

Our Goober!

I would like to thank Brendan for his photographic and photoshopping skills. We would also like to wish him good luck and God Bless as he goes to Iraq for a year in August taking photos for the military.

The DeHart Family
Behind me is my sister Nicole and her husband Frank, at the top is my dad Roger and step-mom Gayla, below her is my sister Alexis and her husband Brendan with their son Garrett, and last but not least in the center is my Grandmother Margaret De Hart.
My Grandmother generously rented this the Windmill B&B in Peoria, TX and few miles from Whitney where she lives and most of my Dad's family hails from!
Garrett & Frank enjoying the horses and burning some energy.
Frank & Brendan were the only ones fascinated with the tarantula!
All of us enjoying a delicious french toast breakfast, very homey.
Do I look awake yet? Too many late nights on this trip!!!
Visiting with our cousins Loren & Derrick, the last time we saw them was 6 years ago and they looked a lot younger. They were great with feeding Oliver and should make good fathers one day!

My Grandmother insisted I have a photo wearing makeup--so here it is!
I spent 3 days scouring my Grandmother's house for family photos and genealogy. We also tape recorded some stories and had fun learning about the Harris family.Trying to stay out of trouble, not an easy task! Garrett is a very cute kid who knows what he wants and doesn't want. His parents goal is to figure it out!
Hanging out with Grandpa at the cemetery.

Cousin Kellie & Uncle Bob DeHart

Turner Falls in Davis, OK
We had a nice pit stop on the long drive back from Whitney, TX.
My sisters and I had remembered visiting this place about 20 years ago and it
was still just as fun! Although the waterslide seemed a lot steeper and longer this time. Brendan spotted a soft-shelled turtle, which made us a little cautious in the water!

Running into the nieghbors. . .

Living 3 miles down the road from my Dad's house--Garth spottings are somewhat frequent. Austin & Colton found him playing laser tags with his kids!

The Wii
Our neighbors Sean & Colin introduced the kids to the Wii
and their lives will never be the same. By the time we picked them up
the were playing it like a pro. Now, Kent and Evelyn frequently ask
to visit their house!

Oliver's girlfriend Amanda tried to capture his new silly smile. . .
unfortunately, she was only able to get it when he was confined to a highchair.

St. Johnsbury Atheneum (library) Pet Parade

Since our bird recently died, we brought stuffed animals instead.

Kent brought his bunny and puppy,
Evelyn (or Fancy Nancy) came with "Monkey George,"
& Oliver came with his turtle, whom we think he resembles!

Our friends the LaMontange family--Micheal, Mark, Cindy, Denni, and James.
