Storyland in Glen, New Hampshire~

We had a 24 hour family vacation to Storyland, an amusement park for kids up to 12 years old. We drove one hour from our house on Friday, arrived there in the rain, and played for 3 hours at Cinderella's castle, rode her swans, saw the three pigs houses, met the old woman who lived in a shoe, played in the yellow submarine in the octopus' garden, rode the "wild" turtles, crazy barnhouse, and flying fish. Then we stayed at the Red Apple Inn and went back to Storyland on Saturday for more fun. We got there right at opening and rode all the fun water rides before all the long lines formed. Evelyn thought every ride was the "best ride ever" and she gave Cinderella a huge hug! Kent loved the Bamboo Chutes ride, although he looked mortified going the chute! Oliver dutifully slept most of the time and was admired by all the passers-by. Aaron got soaked on the water rides and had a great time taking kids on rides. We are glad to be home and have a peaceful Sunday! As peaceful a Sunday can be with 3 kids in church! a>
