It is a little scary to think about what a parent will do sometimes to get a good photo of their children! Beg, plead, bribe, make ridiculous faces, threaten. Oh well, at least their cute to begin with! We didn't realize that our street is trick-or-treating central. We bought 2 large bags of candy and then we saw cars upon cars parking in front of the house. Luckily, we went to the church party and turned off our light for 2 hours. Next year we will be better prepared!

The party was fun! The kids did a small parade--Evelyn walked with her Sunbeams teachers Sister Burkeholder and her friend Sage. The youth created fun games--tossing rings around drinks, boobing for apples, and eating donuts off a string without using your hands. As you can tell Kent broke the rules! As expected, Evelyn did quite well eating the donut. She has a nack for eating anything! Oliver was passed around from person-to-person, spreading joy wherever he went. Aaron helped the kids carve pumpkins--don't they look great? Aaron tried to win a drink, it only took 12 tosses but he got his rootbeer!
