We had a enjoyable time Monday on a hayride to a pumpkin patch with our friends. Evelyn, Ava, Alison, Amanda, and Paxton bundled up on a chilly morning and bumped along on a barren field. Evelyn chose a small pumpkin and came back to the farm to see the chickens. She got to collect a dozen to bring home. We had a nice dinner with them! It's that time of year again when we get have to get back into the routine of bundling up everyday. In Vermont, everyone is freezing now that it's 30 degrees, but come March it will warm up to the same temperature and everyone will be out without jackets feeling very warm!
