1st half of Halloween. . .thank goodness it's only one day a year!Gloria, the children's librarian held a Halloween Parade through the library, past the fire station, and to the St. Johnsbury House to visit the elderly. The kids past out small bags of candy along the way. I didn't realize there was no school today and had my first midwife appointment today at the hospital. So I had the joy of taking the three amigos with me for an hour and a half and then the library, later we have 2 parties to go to tonight! Visiting dad on his lunch hour! Too bad we forgot to bring lunch!:(

We would like to thank Deanna Cook for the costume from Wells's birthday party.
You can always count on Evelyn for the dramatics.
Oliver the Turtle's favorite spot in the library, the computer. Michelle (and Oliver) work the lunch shift three times a week at the St. Johnsbury Atheneum and Oliver has become quite comfortable with the surroundings there!

It's quite difficult to take a photo of this fast-moving turtle.
