The St. Johnsbury Preschool Wildlife Tree Party~

For the last day of school before a 2 week vacation (how will I ever survive?), the kids in preschool and kindergarten decorated trees with goodies for birds and other creatures. Evelyn made a bagel covered in peanut butter and birdseed , and a necklace of fruit loops. Then they read a story, sang songs, and had hot chocolate and cookies (my daughter proudly proclaimed that she had eaten four). Of course, in true Vermont style, this was all done in about 10 degrees-although that seems generous!
Evelyn's teacher Ms. Julie leading everyone in carols, which I frequently saw Evelyn shaking her booty too!
Since the party didn't begin till 1:45, Oliver missed his typical 3 hour nap and was ready for bed an hour earlier than normal! We just had to endure him till the time came. Aren't they beautiful kids? I think so!
Evelyn's best friend Katie! Of course, after the photo Evelyn threw that snowball at her. She is still working on being considerate of others.
